The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is prepared to print about 250 million ballots with watermarks ahead of the next general elections.

The Security Printing Corporation, Pakistan Postal Foundation, and Printing Corporation of Pakistan will share the workload at 25%, 40%, and 35% of the three printing machines used for this purpose.

The security measures are being heightened, considering the possibility of army personnel deployment inside and outside the printing facilities.

The decision is aimed at ensuring the integrity and security of the electoral process, with a meticulous plan for secured transportation from printing machines to the designated officials.
