**Deputy Commissioner Peshawar has issued a notification for the imposition of Section 144, in which it has been stated that Section 144 has been imposed for a week.

Under Section 144, a ban was imposed on tinted car windows and the display of weapons.

Protests outside the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly were also banned.

According to DC Peshawar, Section 144 has been enforced due to the dire security circumstances.
