Smog still lingers in Lahore, making Lahore one of the most polluted cities in the world.

In Lahore, the number of particulate matter was recorded at 343 at 7 am, compared to 264 the previous morning.

High concentrations of particles in the air are a big concern for health issues.

It should be noted that Lahore remained at the first place in the world in terms of air pollution on Wednesday, the caretaker chief minister of Punjab had called an important meeting to deal with the smog situation.

During the meeting, important decisions were also taken regarding the closure of schools, colleges and universities in Punjab on Saturdays and the fixing of working hours for business opening on Saturdays.
