Karachi fisherman makes fortunes with rare fish
The meat and fat of these fish are sold at high prices
In the open sea of Ibrahim Hydari in Karachi, a fisherman caught a ‘hundred fishes’ worth 70 crores.
Shawa fish also known as herring fish, a quite rare, and useful not only for eating purposes but for its utility.
The fat from the stomach of this rare fish is used to make the surgical thread, called golden saw.
Fishermen sold fish worth 70 crores at Karachi Fish Harbour.
‘Shawa fish’ fish has become rare. Its meat is sold for 1000 rupees per kg.
The reason for its high cost is the fat.
