Sindh govt warns private schools not to pressure students to buy things from schools

A private school is entitled to charge only its own fees, circular

The Sindh Education Department has issued a notice to the private educational institutions asking them not to force the students to buy uniforms, books, and other things from their schools otherwise strict action will be taken.

The circular said that students are being forced to buy uniforms, books, and other items from their school, which are selling at a higher price than the market rate.

According to the circular, the private educational institutions have been told several times but despite this situation still going on, they are being informed that the students should not be forced.

The circular said that the private school has the right to charge only its fees, while other things should not be forced upon students, a move that is against the Ministry of Private Educational Institutions Ordinance in the province.
