Pakistani actor Ahad Raza Mir after his successful work in Pakistani entertainment industry for four years, returned to Canada where he performed the iconic role of Hamlet in Shakespeare’s timeless play, performed at The Rose Brampton.

A theatre play held at Canada’s The Rose Brampton won the attention of hundreds of audience members in the hall.

Shakespeare’s play opens, with Hamlet mourning his father, who was killed, and lamenting the behaviour of his mother, Gertrude, who married his uncle Claudius within a month of his father’s death.

The ghost of his father appears to Hamlet and informs him that Claudius poisoned him.

Ahad played the role of the son of Ghost father in the story after which fans can’t stop themselves from falling in love with him.

Sharing his experience Mir said he was nervous about the large crowds but finds solace in the character he plays.

He hopes his appearance on stage will inspire South Asian viewers to pursue their artistic dreams, despite the risks involved.

After wrapping up his performances in Brampton on October 18, Mir set to travel to Rome to film for Netflix’s first Pakistan-themed original series, “Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo,” where he is rumoured to play the lead role.

Mir grew up in Calgary, where his acting career began on stage. Shortly after graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Calgary, he moved to Pakistan to try his luck on screen. Starting the journey from the role of Dr Asfandyar from Yaqeen ka Safar and his role of Jameel from Aangan, he has won so many hearts.
