Prominent Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel has said that Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his family regularly listen to his speeches, while Mufti Ans of India is also inspired by him.

On a podcast with Nadir Ali, he narrated a story of his friend who said that Salman Khan is a fan of Maulana.

“My friend had gone to India to meet his business partner, and his partner offered his an opportunity to meet Salman Khan face to face.”

“His Indian partner made a call to Salman and said a guest from Pakistan wanted to meet him,” Taria Jamil said quoting his friend. “Salman replied that have Maulana Tariq Jameel come to India.”

He added that when his friend asked Salman Khan if he knew who Tariq Jameel was, the actor showed a collection of CDs of Maulana’s sermons at his home.

Moreover, he said that not only Salman himself but his sisters also listens to his speeches.

Talking about the name of Mufti Ans’ son, who is named after Maulana Tariq Jameel, he said that the mufti had asked him about it and I had permitted him.

He said he had played a great role in Ans’ marriage.
