Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has become paternal and maternal grandfather at the same time after his ‘son’ and ‘daughter’ become parents – only that the son and the daughter in question are not his biological children.

As mind boggling as it may sound, the witty line about Devgn becoming paternal and maternal grandfather at the same time was posted to social media after Bollywood couple Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta had a son on July 20.

The couple shared a picture from the hospital announcing the good news on their Instagram.

After the post, while fans flooded the comment section with their love, some congratulated Ajay Devgn on becoming a Nana and Dada.

You may know Vatsal Sheth from the popular Bollywood flick Tarzan: The Wonder Car, in which Ajay Devgn played the role of Vatsal’s father.

And Ishita Dutta was seen in the role of Ajay Devgn’s daughter in the movie Drishyam.

But this is not the only reason people are congratulating Ajay Devgn.

Vatsal Sheth was last seen in the movie Adipurush in the role of “Indrajit”. The movie did not do well but Vatsal certainly did justice to his role.

Ishita Dutta is also a fine actress known for her prominent performances in both Darshyam movies, Firangi, and Bepanah Pyaar.

Ishita Dutta said on a show about Ajay Devgn that she and her husband Vatsal Sheth met and got married because of him.

The couple tied the knot in 2017.

In response to a question, the actress had said that ‘I met my husband through Ajay Sir, I am very happy that he was our matchmaker.’

Vatsal and Ishita’s relationship with Ajay Devgn is so good that in an interview, Vatsal revealed that he was the first to tell Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Bobby Deol and Sohail Khan about Ishita’s pregnancy.

So Devgan will likely be godfather to the couple child, if not grandfather.
