A property dispute led to the murder of a police official in Karachi by his own family members.

A CCTV video, seen by Aaj News, shows the policeman Ismail, being beaten by his brother and nephews in Karachi’s Gulistan Colony.

As the altercation went on, one of the nephews took out a pistol and shot Ismail multiple times.

Even after being wounded, Ismail continued to try and fight the men.

However, the assailants did not stop there and went on to beat Ismail with sticks.

Police confirmed that family members were involved in the murder and they had even proceeded to set Ismail’s motorcycle on fire after the murder.

Ismail’s brother and nephews manged to flee the scene after the crime. The police have opened an investigation into the incident.
