President Dr Arif Alvi has shared a photo to his social media profiles showing him with Prince Mohammad Bin Salman, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia.

The president is in Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj with other members of his family.

He met with the crown prince at an even where other dignitaries from various countries were also present. Interior Ministre Rana Sanaullah, who also performed Hajj this year, also attended the same event on Eid.

President Alvi shared his photo with Prince Mohammad Bin Salman on Saturday, showing the two leaders with a broad smile on their faces.

“Very symbolic of the great relationship between the people of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. No better expression of the kinship than the beaming and affectionate smile on the faces of two brothers,” he wrote on Twitter.
