YouTuber Adil Raja has been arrested from London, Aaj News reported on Wednesday.

Raja was known for running a YouTube channel named ‘Soldier Speaks’ where he would often criticise Pakistan’s army and agencies. A case had been registered against him in Ramna Police Station in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Reports had emerged in April 2022, that Raja had ‘disappeared’ from Pakistan, but he had emerged in the United Kingdom a few days later. He had been in the UK ever since.

In May, he had tweeted that his Facebook page and YouTube channel had been suspended. He had accused intelligence agencies and Pakistan Telecom Authorities of getting the accounts suspended through ‘loopholes’ such as mass reporting.
