The University of Karachi students have staged a protest and blocked University Road after a case was registered against a student under sections of murder and terrorism.

The student, who allegedly slapped SSP CTD’s nephew over a minor quarrel, got arrested by the law enforcement agency officials and the case was lodged in the Mobina Town Police station.

Moreover, due to their influence, sections of murder and terrorism were included in the case.

According to the plaintiff’s case, the student made obscene speech when asked for time, Ehtesham slapped the student for obscene speech. Later, Ehtesham was detained and kept in custody overnight.

Following that, students staged a protest at the Silver Jubilee Gate and blocked the University road.

The students said that they are protesting against violence and the attempt of a murder case against Ehtesham.
