Shah Rukh Khan surprised a 60-year-old fan living with cancer via video call and promised to meet her soon.

Shivani Chakraborty, who is a resident of Khardah, West Bengal, is battling terminal cancer for several years, according to Hindustan Times.

She is an ardent fan of the Bollywood superstar. Chakraborty wanted to meet the star at least once in her life. Surprisingly, Shivani received a call from none other than Shah Rukh, and pictures and videos of the same went viral on social media soon after.

She had expressed her wish of meeting him at least once in her life, and surprisingly, he promised to meet her.

Her daughter, Priya, said that their video call lasted for 40 minutes, where, King Khan also announced to help their family financially with the treatment process.

Moreover, Shah Rukh wished for her mother’s speedy recovery and said that he would visit her Kolkata home to have a home-cooked fish curry but on one condition.

“SRK will pray for my mother’s speedy recovery. He read a ‘dua’ for her. SRK promised my mum that he would come to my wedding and have fish curry made in her kitchen provided the fish did not have bones,” she was quoted by the publication.
