Paul Walker’s daughter set to make acting debut in Fast X
It has been almost a decade since the death of the Fast and Furious star Paul Walker, but his memories are still with fans as the franchise is about to release the 10th film in the saga.
Just to keep his legacy alive, the franchise has paid a touching tribute to the late actor by introducing a cameo from his daughter Meadow Walker.
That is right, Meadow, now 24, is making her first big screen appearance in the movie that her dad is usually known for.
Expressing her gratitude and excitement about being a part of the franchise Meadow said that she was “born into a Fast” family.
She took to Instagram to share how the Fast and Furious franchise was an integral part of her life growing up, as the first movie was released when she was just one year old.
“A preview of my cameo in Fast X. The first fast was released when I was one year old! I grew up on set watching my father, Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris and more on the monitors. Thanks to my dad, I was born into a fast family. I can’t believe now I get to be up there too – with those who have been around to see me grow up,” she wrote.
She also gave a shoutout to the Fast X directors Louis Leterrier and Brandon Birtell.
“It feels like you’ve been part of the family since we started, I’m happy it’s just the beginning,” she wrote, adding how ecstatic and emotional she is to be able to honour her father’s legacy and share this experience with him forever.
The latest installment in the franchise is all set for May 19 global release starring Jason Momoa. The movie will also include throwback footage of Paul Walker, who died in November 2013.
