Gold loses its shine in Pakistan
Pakistani market witnessed a big decrease in gold prices on Saturday as the yellow metal lost its shine in the global market.
The price of one tola of 24-Karat gold saw a decrease of Rs2,600 and was being traded for Rs216,000, according to the All Sindh Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-Karat gold decreased by Rs2,229 and was available for Rs185,185. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold was settled at Rs169,757.
The gold prices in the international market also saw a huge decrease as an ounce of gold saw a decrease of $31 in its value and was being traded for $2,003.
On the other hand, the price of silver remained stable in Pakistani markets.
The price of one tola of 24-karat silver remained at Rs2,570 and 10 grams of 24-karat silver remained at Rs2,203.36.
