Massive hike in 70cc bike prices
Once 70cc bike was considered to be an affordable commutation option for lower-middle income people, however, the recent hike in its prices has pushed it beyond the reach of a common man.
After the recent increase, the Japanese variant of the 70cc motorcycle has almost touched a whopping Rs150,000.
The company blamed Dollar for the recent increase of Rs5,000 in its prices. The bike without registration would now cost around Rs149,900.
Moreover, the Chinese variant also witnesses a massive jump in prices. After an increase of Rs6,000, it would now cost you about Rs140,000 without registration.
Apart from that, the price of the Japanese variant of 125cc motorcycle increased up to Rs34,000. The bike is now available at Rs222,900. While the prices of Yamaha’s YBR also increased up to Rs38,500. It is now available for Rs394,500.
