PTI’s politics revolves around crutches: Maryam
PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz once again attacked Imran Khan on Sunday, saying that PTI’s entire politics revolves around appointments.
Speaking at a meeting of PMLN’s lawyer wing in Lahore, Maryam said that her party is not afraid of elections since they had always been elected not selected.
She also said that PMLN’s lawyers had always supported the party in its struggle and their need was strongest in the current crisis.
“There is an impression in the country that the scales of justice are not even,” Maryam said.
She added that Sheikh Rasheed’s speech in Lahore’s rally on March 25 had larid bare PTI’s plans. Rasheed had said that the PDM was waiting until President Arif Alvi and Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial would be out of office.
Maryam said that PTI’s entire politics revolves around appointments and getting support from ‘abettors’ in the institutions. She added that Imran Khan’s long march was also intended to influence the army chief’s appoitnment.
She said that some remnants of the people who aided the PTI are still trying to help him.
“The system cannot be run on the whims of one person,” Maryam said.
