PTI leader Dr Yasmin Rashid has alleged that Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah is doing everything he can to get Imran Khan killed.

She made the claim in a press conference in Lahore on Saturday while discussing investigation of the assassination attempt on Imran Khan in November.

She said that Rana Sanaullah is a killer and his mind revolves around killing.

Dr Yamin said that evidence already recorded about the incident was now being covered up as part of a criminal activity. She also said that those behind the cover up were involved in the attack.

She also said that Imran Khan was still certain that the PDM government was behind the attack. She added that the federal government had superimposed its own investigation committee by removing the JIT constituted by PTI’s punjab government.

“Now a new Jit has been formed including the four people who are involved in tampering evidence,” she said.

The four people are RPO Rawalpindi Syed Khurram Ali, AIG Monitoring Punjab Ihsanullah Chohan, DPO Jhang Malik Tariq and SP CTD Naseebullah Khan.

She said that a petition will be filed against the new JIT on Monday.

Imran Khan was attacked in an apparent assassination attempt in Wazirabad on November 3 while leading the Azadi March towards Rawalpindi.
