Pacer Ihsanullah has made his mark in the Pakistan Super League by claiming his maiden five-wicket haul against Quetta Gladiators.

The 20-year-old pacer from Khyber Agency, ripped apart the Gladiators’ batting lineup with his pace and ended up with the second-best figures in the PSL history.

The right-arm pacer stared the proceeding with the wicket of Gladiators captain Sarfaraz Ahmed, who got an inside edge which disturbed his wood-work. That delivery was clocked at over 150 kph.

He celebrated that wicket with his trademark bow and arrow celebration.

Sultan pacer then bowled a double wicket maiden to reduce Gladiators to 46/5. In the over, he removed Jason Roy (27) and Iftikhar Ahmed for a golden duck on back-to-back deliveries.

In the 13th over, the captain called him back, as he answered the call with the wicket of Umar Akmal (11).

He completed the fifer by castling Naseem Shah (1). In his four-over spell he conceded just 12 runs.

Thanks to his firry spell, Sultans booked Qalandars for 110. In replay they comfortably reached the target in 13.3 overs with nine wickets in hand to go on top of the PSL points table.
