Watch: Babar Azam getting into shape for PSL8
Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam has been doing immense practice to get in the shape for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight.
The tournament is set to commence on February 13 in Multan, but test of the Babar-led Peshawar Zalmi will start on February 14, when they will take on Karachi Kings at the National Bank Cricket Arena.
On Thursday, two-time champions Islamabad United were scheduled to practice at the venue in Karachi, however, their practice was called off and it gave the Zalmi captain prime opportunity to get back to his best.
Accompanied by the assistant coach, Babar came to the Hanif Mohammad High-Performance Centre alone.
He had a lengthy session in the nets, where he can be seen practicing power-hitting.
Babar had a quiet ODI series against New Zealand, where he scored just 149 runs in three ODI matches.
