Record-breaking Abrar Ahmed creates history in Multan Test
Mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed has created history in Multan Test as he registered the best-ever bowling figures on debut by a Pakistani spinner.
The 24-year-old bagged seven wickets in the first innings and four in the second as Pakistan bowled out England for 275. He ended up with figures of 11-234.
This was also the second-best overall performance Pakistan bowler after Mohammad Zahid’s 11-130 against New Zealand in 1996.
It is worth to mention here that Pakistan are off to a solid start chasing 354-run target against England on day three Sunday.
At lunch the Pakistan reached 64-0 with Abdullah Shafique batting on 34 and Mohammad Rizwan not out for 30.
