The subaltern often have no voices, but should they be deprived of ears too?

A feudal lord in Sindh’s Kandhkot district has chewed a herdsman ear, literally.

The horrible incident was reported in the jurisdiction of the B-Section Police Station in Kandhkot.

In village Lado Shakh, the herdsman, Irfan Khoso, was detained by influential landowner Azeem Khoso after some of the goats he was herding wandered into the fields owned by the feudal lord.

The trespass enraged the landowner who bit Khoso’s ear off.

Two photos taken shortly after the incident went viral on social media. In one of the photos, a man holds up the bitten piece of ear to the camera.

The other image shows Irfan Khoso with bandaged on his left ear.

The police have not registered a case so far.
