Thousands of people have been gathering outside Westminster Abbey, London and waiting in long queues to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II, who died on September 8 at the age of 96. The funeral of queen would be held on September 19 (Monday) at 11am (London time) at Westminster Abbey.

Princes William and Harry would mount a silent vigil at the coffin of their late grandmother today (Saturday).

Buckingham Palace has released specific details about the schedule of the funeral—which includes the heads of state, foreign government representatives, foreign royal families, governors general, and prime ministers.

The children of Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles with Princess Anne and Princes Edward and Andrew today (Saturday), hold a silent vigil for 10 minutes in military uniform at Westminster hall.

Flowers, images, and banners overwhelmed mourners gathered outside the palace and also on London streets.

The newly crowned king is receiving a mixed reaction from the people of Britain.
