Pakistan is left with reserves enough for only 45 days, claims Sheikh Rasheed
Former interior minister and Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed claimed that Pakistan is left with reserves enough for only 45 days instead of 90 days.
“China, Dubai, Qatar and Saudi Arabia did not help Pakistan this time. China has extreme reservations regarding the US conditions for the aid,” Rasheed said in a tweet on Sunday.
Criticizing JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Rasheed said that Fazl and the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) had the same stance over the merger of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The former interior minister said in another tweet that the decision of no confidence was taken in London. “The same Nawaz Sharif is talking about leaving the government,” the former interior said adding that the country was in an “economic jam” and the people were not in the position to pay bills of electricity and gas alongside a fixed tax.
Rasheed said that the coalition government kept holding ineffective press conferences while Imran Khan has “taken over” after a brief campaign.
“The government becomes zero, while he [Imran Khan] has become a hero,” he added.
