Black Panther: Wakanda Forever teaser is out now
The Marvel Studios released the official teaser of ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever teaser’ on Sunday. It starts with a song titled ‘everything’s gonna be alright now’.
“I am Queen of the most powerful nation in the world, and my entire family is gone,” Angela Bassett’s character Ramonda says in the two minutes and eleven-second teaser. “Have I not given everything.”
It ended in the scene where apparently the lead character of Black Panther comes to save his tribe. The movie is directed by Ryan Coogler, who also directed the previous two movies of the famous franchise.
Late American actor Chadwick Boseman played the lead character of Black Panther in the first two movies.
“In Marvel Studios’ ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,’ Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira) and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death,” said the Marvel Studios.
The heroes band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda. The film also stars Dominique Thorne, Michaela Coel, Mabel Cadena and Alex Livanalli.
The sound world for the film began with extended trips to Mexico and Nigeria, said composer Ludwig Goransson. “We spent our days working with traditional musicians who educated us about the cultural, social, and historical contexts of their music. We built a catalogue of instrumental and vocal recordings with them that explored both traditional and non-traditional uses of their musical material.”
The music team built a musical vocabulary for the characters, storylines, and cultures of Talocan and Wakanda by using Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole’s script as a blueprint.
“The instrumental score and soundtrack for Wakanda Forever both organically grew from these sessions and workshops. They are conceived together as a singular entity to create an immersive and enveloping sound world for the film.”
