Shoaib Akhtar to embark on Hajj journey as Saudi state guest
Shoaib Akhtar announced on Saturday in a tweet that he will be going for honorary Hajj as state guest of Saudi Arabia.
Akhtar while sharing his picture in an Ahram, with a caption, “Alhamdolillah going for honorary Hajj as state guest of Saudi Arabia,” announcing his embark on a Hajj journey.
The Rawalpindi Express said that he will also be addressing the Hajj Conference which will be attended by leaders of the Muslim world in Makkah.
The former cricketer and analyst expressed his gratitude to the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad.
In his YouTube video, he said, “Its a very emotional journey for me… I’m very fortunate to be present at a place where once the Prophet (PBUH) had been.”
