TikToker Dolly granted bail in forest fire case
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) granted bail to TikToker Nausheen Saeed alias Dolly on Wednesday after a first information report was registered against her for starting a forest fire in Margalla Hills for the sake of a video.
IHC judge Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri announced the verdict in a case registered against Dolly for setting trees in the Margalla Hills ablaze for a video.
Is there any evidence that Dolly set the forest ablaze to shoot the video? asked Justice Jahangiri.
The estimated fire damage to the trees also had to be calculated, the police told the court.
A first information report was filed against Dolly in the Kohsar police station under various sections of the Environment Protection Agency and Islamabad Wildlife Ordinance.
If the TikToker was found guilty, she would have had to face up to seven years in prison.
