Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insasf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that an ‘imported government’ was imposed on the country, adding that the nation would never accept the thieves and corrupt people as their rulers.

“We will never accept the U.S. slavery,” the ousted premier said while addressing the workers’ convention in Charsadda on Sunday.

The PTI chairman said that his party was devising a strategy for the long march. “I will give calls for the long march after completing the preparations,” he added.

He said PTI’s workers had been martyred in the war of independence. “They were struggling for the freedom of the country from the corrupt leaders and not for achieving their personal goals,” Khan said, adding that peaceful protest was our democratic right.

“The party will file a petition in the Supreme Court on Monday for getting our right to organise a peaceful protest,” he said, adding that he would not forgive the CCPO Lahore, DIG Operations and IGP, Islamabad for using violence against unarmed PTI workers.

Lashing out at the government for increasing prices of petroleum products, he said that the government had increased the prices after accepting the conditions of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) while India bought cheap oil from Russia and reduced prices because India was free in making their own decisions.
