Saudi Arabia ranked first globally in terms of date exports in 2021.

According to Arab media, a report released by the World Trade Center’s website (TradeMab), Saudi Arabia ranked first in the world in the export of dates in the year 2021.

However, the value of Saudi Arabia’s date palm exports reached 1.215 billion riyals last year.

The report said that the number of palm trees in the country is 33 million, which is 27% of the total palm of the world, while the number of agricultural reserves of palm is 123,000.

In addition, the National Centre for Palm in Saudi Arabia said in a statement that the goal achieved in the production of palms and their exports is aimed at reducing dependence on oil.

However, under Vision 2030, they are focusing on palm oil production development.
