PM Shehbaz, Bilawal condemn blast in Karachi’s Saddar

Shehbaz says Centre will work with provincial govt to end terrorism

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have strongly condemned the blast in Karachi’s Saddar area, in which one person was killed and 13 others were injured late Thursday night, Aaj News reported.

In separate statements, both the leaders expressed their grief over the incident and offered their condolences to the family of the deceased.

Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured persons, PM Shehbaz said the Centre together with the provincial government would “exterminate the enemies of peace and the people.”

Foreign Minister Bilawal directed officials concerned to conduct a thorough investigation of the blast.

Meanwhile, MQM-P leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui also condemned the blast, adding that his party and the new coalition government would not let anyone to spoil the law and order situation in Karachi.

He urged the law enforcement agencies to foil the nefarious designs of the terrorists by their expert skills.
