‘Nachange saari raat’ singer Taz of Stereo Nation passes away
Stereo Nation singer Tarsame Singh Saini, aka Taz, passed away on Friday. The London based Indian singer was 54.
The singer was suffering from a hernia, the surgery for which was postponed for over two years because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Saini’s deteriorating health led him into a coma at the beginning of 2022. He was, however, showing signs of improvement, according to a statement on his official Instagram page.
“Taz is doing well and no longer in a coma, he’s showing improvements every day… When there is more positive news, the family will let us all know,” the post had said.
Starting his career in the 80s with cross-cultural Asian music, Saini rose to fame with his debut song Hit the Deck. He was later known for songs like Nachenge Saari Raat, Gallan Goriyan and Pyaar Ho Gaya.
People from all across the world are paying tribute to the singer.
