YouTuber Saad Ur Rehman, who goes by the name ‘Ducky Bhai’ tied the knot with the “love of his life” Aroob Jatoi on Wednesday.

Rehman is one of the most prominent internet personalities in the country, so it comes as no surprise that he met his wife online.

Sharing the pictures of his engagement plus nikkah on social media, the YouTuber revealed that he first interacted with her through Instagram, when she sent him a message that said, “You’re so funny I swear.”

Social media users congratulated the couple on their nikkah.

But for some, Rehman and Jatoi’s nikkah was proof that sliding into their celebrity crush’s DMs might not be hopeless after all.

Last year, YouTuber Shahveer Jafry also got married to a fan, Ayesha Beig. In a video titled 'How we met', Jafery revealed that he came across Beig's profile while scrolling the direct message section on Instagram. Beig's first message to him was, “I like your work.”

A Twitter user has dubbed sending direct messages the “new rishta technique.”
