RAWALPINDI: Pakistan's navy blocked an Indian submarine on Tuesday from entering into its waters, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations.

An unverified military account also released footage of the detection of Indian submarine.

The ISPR claims it is the third incident of its kind.

"The recent incident reflects the deplorable Indian machinations vis-à-vis the commitment and resolve of the Pakistan Navy to defend maritime frontiers of the motherland," said the statement.

In past, Indian submarines have attempted twice to enter Pakistani waters.

Earlier in 2019, Pakistan Navy had also thwarted attempt by Indian submarine to enter Pakistani waters.

The Pakistan Navy used its specialised skills to ward off the submarine, successfully keeping it from entering Pakistani waters, a statement from the navy's spokesperson had said at the time..

In November 2016, the navy had detected an Indian submarine in the south of Pakistan's coast.
