Veteran actor Talat Iqbal passes away
Veteran actor Talat Iqbal died in Dallas on Friday after a brief illness according to family members.
He was hospitalized two weeks ago and placed on a ventilator, following the death of his daughter earlier in the month.
Iqbal performed in films and TV in the 1970s and 1980s and was married to actor Sumbul.
He continued to act and his last few performances were in Ab Dekh Khuda Kya Karta Hai and Kaif-e-Baharan in 2018.
His is survived by a daughter and son. He was buried in Dallas.
Celebrities and high ranking officials took to Twitter to condole his passing and pay tribute to his work.
