The sit-in against the killing of three Levies personnel in Ziarat coninues as protestors demand an investigation into the incident, saying they won't bury their loved ones until the formation of a judicial commission.

They're also demanding action against law enforcement for failing to keep the areas safe.

Three Levies personnel were killed when their vehicle crossed a landmine in Ziarat last Thursday.

According to our source in Ziarat, the Balochistan Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for this attack.

The source claims the men were instructed by the DC to venture into the area to recover missing persons who had been abducted when the attack happened near Mangi Dam.

Protestors have blocked the National Highway and are staging a peaceful sit-in with coffins of the deceased. The Friday Times reported that shops also shut down in a show of solidarity.

Many have taken to Twitter to report on the protest and raise awareness on the sit-in.

Mirwais Kakar shared videos of the father of one of the deceased Levies, Mudasir Khan; the other victims were also related to him. In Pashto he tells the interviewer he's taken a stand for Pashtuns, and even if his son's body decomposes in the ambulance he won't move until their demands are met.

He also said he doesn't want government to build Burj al Khalifa for them in Ziarat or a palace. All they want is to stop the killing of Pashtuns. And says he will not accept more deaths.

At the time of writing, no government official had visited the protestors.

Chief Minister Jamal Kamal Khan tweeted his regrets but also asked for the men to be buried.

Kakar also shared a heartbreaking video of the daughter of a Levies killed.

Another shared a photograph reportedly from Monday of the sit in.

One user also shared the image of the three ambulances which contained the dead bodies of the Levies personnel, awaiting burial.
