Noor Mukaddam murder: Owner of psychotherapy center among six arrested
ISLAMABAD: The owner of a psychotherapy center, and his five employees, accused of concealing evidence, have been arrested in Noor Mukaddam murder case.
Police officials said that they have arrested Dr Tahir Ahmad, owner of Therapy Works and his employees including Muhammad Amjad, an injured employee, who was stabbed by Zahir Jaffer, accused of murdering Noor in Islamabad on July 20.
Police officials said that the arrested persons are accused of concealing evidence along with Zakir Jaffer, Zahir's father. Kohsar police station produced the accused in Islamabad court and requested for a three-day remand.
Judicial Magistrate Shehzad Khan granted two-day physical remand to the accused.
Zahir has reportedly confessed to murdering Noor after she rejected his marriage proposal.
Police also obtained video evidence of Noor's torture.
In this video, Noor ran from the balcony at 4.30 pm and came to the guard's cabin where she locked herself.
Accused Zahir came and took Noor out of the cabin. The guards in the street kept watching all this. No guard stopped Zahir Jaffar from torturing her. There were other people in the street who dragged Noor.
