Pakistan will continue its sincere efforts for peace in Afghanistan: FM Qureshi
ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has reiterated Pakistan's commitment to continue its conciliatory efforts for peace in Afghanistan with international partners.
He was talking to Special Representative of the Secretary-General for the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan Deborah Lyons who called on him at Foreign Office in Islamabad today (Monday).
They discussed issues of mutual interest, including the law and order situation in the region and the Afghan peace process.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Pakistan will continue its sincere efforts for peace in Afghanistan as peace in Afghanistan is essential for peace and stability in the region.
The Minister said dignified and phased repatriation of Afghan refugees from Pakistan, should be made an integral part of Afghan peace process.
