RAWALPINDI: The security forces have killed five wanted terrorists including Wasim Zakria in an intelligence based operation in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan.

According to a statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the Pakistan Army conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan.

According to ISPR, during the intelligence-based operation, a key terrorist Wasim Zakaria along with others was killed in a confrontation with the security forces while 10 key terrorists were arrested.

According to a statement issued by ISPR, the slain commander was from Haider Khel area of Mir Ali. Terrorist Wasim was also involved in the attack on an army convoy. Terrorist Wasim was involved in the martyrdom of CSS officer Zubaid-ullah Dawar.

According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations, the slain terrorist was involved in attacks on security forces. The terrorists were involved in targeted killings and attacks on government institutions in the area. Terrorist Wasim has been the mastermind of 30 different terrorist acts since 2019. NNI
