Micro-smart lockdown imposed in 3 cities of Punjab
LAHORE: Micro-smart lockdown has been imposed in three cities of Punjab to contain the spread of COVID-19.
As many as 17 affected areas of Lahore, Gujranwala and Rawalpindi have been placed under lockdown where COVID-19 positive cases were reported.
Twelve areas of Lahore have been placed under lockdown where 28 COVID-19 cases were reported.
943 persons have been placed under lockdown in three areas of Rawalpindi where 7 coronavirus positive cases have been reported.
As many as 53 persons were placed under lockdown in two areas of Gujranwala where COVID-19 positive cases were reported.
The lockdown will continue for 14 days in these areas with police deployment to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
