(Karachi) The car which was likely used by India-linked Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) terrorists for an attack on Pakistan Stock Exchange used a fake license plate, media reported on Monday.

Security officials said that the vehicle's number plate was un-registered while its engine number was also tampered. They added that the car has been taken into custody and investigations are being carried out to trace its owner.

CCTV footage shows the terrorists arriving in the car and parking it in front of the main entrance. Further footages and pics which were shared on social media and various television channels showed the culprits exiting the vehicle and beginning the attack.

A total of eleven persons which include four security personnel of the PSX, one police Sub Inspector and two civilians were martyred in the horrific attack. Attackers were armed with explosive material, hand grenades and automatic weapons. The terrorists remained unsuccessful due to the heroic efforts of security and law enforcement personnel.
