A local court in Lahore has issued an arrest warrant against actor and TV host Ayesha Sana after a cheque issued by the actor was bounced.

An FIR against Sana was registered at the police station Defence-B in Lahore by a Businessman named Mian Ali Moeen on May 27.

Ali told authorities that he is a family friend of Ayesha and lent her 2 million PKR for her domestic needs, however, when he demanded her to return the money, she gave him a cheque. However, that cheque turned out to be bogus and the TV host has now disappeared.

The police subsequently booked a fraud case in the Defence police station against the actor complying with Ali's request. However, the actor's disappearance has caused considerable delay in the progression of the case.

Upon hearing the case, a local court has issued an arrest warrant against Sana for not cooperating with authorities.

Ali Moeen isn't the only one claiming that Ayesha has taken money from him, many designers and actors have also made similar claims, reported Daily Times.

Authorities are now looking for Ayesha Sana.
