Prime Minister Imran Khan will give away undergraduate scholarships to around fifty thousand shortlisted needy students in Islamabad today.

This is the country’s biggest-ever scholarship scheme launched under Ehsaas Program.

Among beneficiaries of this scholarship scheme, half are the girls hailing from low-income groups while two percent of scholarships have been allocated for students with special needs.

The objective of the Ehsaas scholarships program is to ensure that no eligible student is deprived of higher education because of financial need.

In total, two hundred thousand scholarships will be awarded during the next four years.
