Pakistani pilgrims to return from Iran soon : Dr Zafar Mirza

The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on National Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza has said that over the next few days we will gradually allow Pakistani Zaireens (pilgrims) to return from Iran in batches after their full health screening.

In a twitter message on Friday, Dr Zafar Mirza said that he visited the Taftan-Zahdan border and reviewed the situation. He said that the point of entry is being strengthened.

 

In another tweet, the assistant said that the two patients confirmed to have coronavirus in Pakistan are stable and improving. “Contacts traced until now and tested are all negative, Alhamdililah," the SAPM added.

 

Earlier, the confirmation of two Coronavirus Cases in Pakistan as two nationals having returned from Iran days before were diagnosed with the virus, Pakistan closed its border with Iran in the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak in the neighboring country.
