Ahsan Iqbal handed over to NAB on 13-day physical remand
Accountability Court Islamabad on Tuesday handed over PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on 13-day physical remand in Narowal Sports Complex corruption case.
Judge Muhammad Bashir approved the remand.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi chapter on Monday arrested Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal.
According to NAB Ahsan is accused of using funds of the federal government and the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) for a sports city being established in Narowal.
According to a statement, NAB also called in a team of doctors for the PML-N MNA’s medical assessment. Iqbal will be produced before an accountability court tomorrow, where NAB will ask for his physical remand.
