The legal team of former military ruler, Ret. General Pervez Musharraf has completely denounced the verdict issued by special court in high treason case.

The team after hearing while talking to media out side the court stated that their client, Musharraf respect the constitution of Pakistan.

A three member bench of the special court, headed by Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Waqar Ahmad Seth, took up the high treason case against former military ruler Pervez Musharraf today and handed him the death sentence.

Musharraf, who is currently residing in Dubai was indicted in high treason case on December of 2013 for imposing the state of emergency on Nov 3, 2007.
