PESHAWAR: At least seven people sustain injuries when a cylinder exploded in an auto-rickshaw outside the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly and Peshawar High Court on Monday.

According to reports, the injured were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital (LRH). The LRH emergency is on the high alert and the injured are being provided immediate aid.

Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Zahoor Afridi said the incident was a cylinder blast. He said police and bomb disposal unit teams have reached the site of the incident and added that the police were investigating the incident further.
