KARACHI: Early morning on Frirday unidentified gun men killed a police official near North Nazimabad’s Landi Kotal Chowrangi, Aaj News reported.

According to Police, the deceased identified as Shakir Ahmed was on his way to begin his shift in Gulberg police station when two unknown assailants riding a motorcycle targeted him near Landi Kotal Chowrangi.

Police sources further added that, the constable was shot in head and died on the spot.

Initial investigation has been started in this regards and the culprits behind this malicious act will be apprehended soon, said DIG West, Zone, Karachi, Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Larik.
