NAB court adjourns hearing of references against Sharif, family till Jan 16
Accountability Court Islamabad has adjourned hearing of NAB references against Sharif family till Tuesday next.
Four prosecution witnessed recorded their statements on Tuesday. Defence Counsel Khawaja Haris cross-examined them.
Two more prosecution witnesses have been summoned for the next hearing.
Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, Marriyum Nawaz and retired Captain Muhammad Safdar appeared before the court of Judge Muhammad Bashir.
Meanwhile, talking to newsmen, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said those trying to create chaos in the country would achieve nothing.
She said despite rumours, Senate elections would be held on time.
The Minister of State said the PML(N) would win next elections on the basis of its performance.
She said courts should take suo motto notice of threats being hurled against the elected Prime Minister and the Chief Minister.
