KARACHI: Renowned chef, cooking expert and television personality Zubaida Tariq  formally known as Zubaida Apa passed away late night on Thursday, Aaj News reported. 

Prominent chef and cooking expert passed away after a protracted illness at the age of 72.

She was the sister of famous writers Anwar Maqsood and late Fatima Surayya Bajia.

Her funeral prayer will be offered at Sultan Mosque in Defence area of Karachi after Jumma prayer.

She rise to the fame by doing culinary shows on TV and writing cookbooks. Her every day home remedies advice segments on various TV channels.
