ISLAMABAD: An Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) of Islamabad Friday directed Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan to be part of investigation in four cases related to the 2014 sit-in including the attack on PTV and Parliament building.

The court asked the investigation officer (IO) to record the statement of PTI chief in all four cases and adjourned hearing of the cases till December 7.

ATC Judge Shahrukh Arjamand picked up the four cases against Imran Khan for hearing lodged by Islamabad Police.

As the hearing began, Khan's counsel Baber Awan requested the court to grant one day exemption from appearance to his client.

The judges asked whether the accused entitle to avail exemption as he was under bailable arrest warrants?

Baber Awan said his client could avail the exemption in accordance of law.

However, the prosecutor side opposed the request and said that Imran Khan was already under bailable arrest warrants.

Later, the PTI chief arrived at judicial complex and appeared before ATC Judge.

The court directed Imran Khan to be part of investigation process related to the cases of attacks on PTV and Parliament buildings during the sit-in of 2014.
